This Week in Photos

Hi everyone! I hope we are all well this weekend?

Today’s post is a rundown of my week, using some of my Instagram posts.

I posted this makeup look up on Wednesday.  I used my Tartelette paletteMAC Cranberry and Chanel Illusion D’ombre in Rouge Noir, to create a smokey cranberry eye look.

Thursday was delivery day for this Hylamide HA Blur serum and Illamasqua blush in ‘Lover’.  I was super excited to receive my order of both products, but especially the HA Blur, which claims to plump skin, blur out lines and minimise pores, all whilst creating the perfect finish for foundation.  I am a huge fan of Deciem and all the products I have used from the Hylamide range and so far, I am totally impressed with this product (full review to follow) ❤️.

The blush is an absolute ‘springtime’ shade.  It is the most divine peach tone, which instantly brightens and lifts the complexion.  A youth giving blush.

After the postie had delivered my makeup  goodies, Miss Livia and I headed off to her swimming lesson.  Thursday is my minimal makeup and glasses day (due to swimming) in fact I don’t wear any makeup at all to swimming and only apply a little afterwards.  The photo above is my everyday makeup with glasses look, defining the eyes with a long wearing and glowy makeup base.

Friday was a busy day for Instagram posts.  I had a fun moment with Miss Livia, whilst sorting through some MAC lipstick bullet empties.  I was compiling my BACK TO MAC collection, when I turned around to find Livia with my nearly used up ‘Girl About Town’ bullet in hand, having applied most impressively to her lips.  I managed to snap this photo of her, not bad going for an almost 2 year old #skills.

Next up on the Friday, I posted a photo of my newly purchased Tarte, Tartelette in Bloom palette, which I bought from QVC UK.  I had been toing and froing for some time about purchasing this palette as I was sure i would have duplicates of the shadows in my other palettes.  However, this is an addition for my MUA kit and it is a palette perfect for bridal work.

Speaking of bridal work, I had a lovely afternoon making up Margaret here. I snapped before and after shots.  We were both really pleased with the look we achieved.

My final look of the week was a quick eye look, colours based around the ZARA top I was wearing that day.  I opted for a dark blue eye with a pop of gold on the mobile lid, natural brows and highlighted cheeks.
So that was my week on Instagram, Mother’s Day tomorrow.   I will be spending some of my day with my 2 sisters, not only is it Mother’s Day, but it is also our Dad’s birthday.

We will be remembering and celebrating our parents,  In their memory, with a lovely lunch together.  The hardest days are always made better when the weight of it is shouldered together.

Wishing all the fellow Mummys out there a wonderful Mother’s Day and if you are fortunate enough to have your Mum here with you this Mother’s Day, love, treasure and enjoy every moment ❤️.

Thanks for reading,

Lynsay 💋
